GOLDEN BROWN. Alejandro Bello

Along the shores of the shine of death
a greek mourns for the age of the sages
but he finds his youth unsurpassable wall
Among the schools of yonder lore
he vainly seeks the old world
but he finds only walls of water
and the knowledge sunk for all the ages
What to do, Oh, what to do
Where is the father, and what says the distant mother
A garden of bleakness
A bleak garden of dried marshes
where roam the neglected sons of the Mother.

GOLDEN BROWN
